MASTER’S DEGREE IN GEOPOLITICS, SECURITY AND DEFENSE

The world is undergoing an accelerated transformation in which geopolitical tensions, security challenges, and the evolution of defense occupy a central role. The Master’s Degree in Geopolitics, Security and Defense at CEU San Pablo University responds to this need.

 

OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES

This official program, delivered in person in Madrid, offers rigorous academic training and strong professional development in the fields of geopolitics, security, and defense. It is a bilingual master’s program (Spanish and English) with a strong international focus, bringing together students and professors from diverse countries and backgrounds.

The objective of the master’s program is to provide students with comprehensive preparation that combines theory and practice. The curriculum covers the foundations of geopolitics, the theory and history of international relations, and economic geography, as well as today’s major challenges: cybersecurity, terrorism and organized crime, energy security, crisis management, and contemporary armed conflicts.

The program is aimed at graduates from different disciplines (Law, International Relations, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Journalism, Engineering, etc.) as well as professionals who wish to specialize, strengthen, or certify their expertise in security and defense.
